Why run Nevis

Runners on the road toward St Thomas Church on Nevis

The Nevis Marathon & Running Festival is a Caribbean race weekend with the feel of a community event. The course traces the coastline and rural roads of one of the most beautiful islands in the Lesser Antilles, with on-course support, a finisher medal for every runner, and a post-race village right on the beach.

Whether you are a club runner chasing a destination race, a first-time 5K entrant from the Caribbean, or somewhere in between, the early-morning start, the local crowd support, and the sunrise on Oualie Bay make for a race weekend that travels well as a story long after the medal hits the wall.
