Nevis Marathon & Running Festival 2024: Participant Fact Sheet

Prepare for an exhilarating race day with the essential details for our upcoming event on Saturday, September 7, 2024. Whether you’re a first-time participant or a seasoned marathon runner, this guide will help ensure you have everything you need for a successful race.

Key Information

– Date & Location: Join us at the Oualie Beach Resort on Nevis Island for the race start and finish.

– Race Day Schedule:
– Registration and Package Collection: Opens at 4:30 AM
– Marathon Start Time: 5:00 AM
– Half-Marathon Start Time: 5:15 AM
– 10K Start Time: 5:30 AM
– 5K Start Time: 5:45 AM
– Briefings: Occur 10 minutes before each race start

– Support Stations:
– Located approximately every 3 miles
– Fully stocked with water, sports drinks, and bananas
– Additional stations at each turn for 5K, 10K, and half-marathon participants

– Awards & Trophies:
– Trophy presentations for 5K and 10K: 7:30 AM
– Half-Marathon: 9:00 AM
– Full Marathon: 11:00 AM (or earlier if all participants finish)

– Finisher Medals: All race finishers will receive a commemorative medal at the finish line.
